Power and production facilities cover more than 339 acres at the Argus, Trona and Westend plants in California. The Searles Valley plants, in California's Mojave Desert, tap into one of the richest sources of diversified minerals and chemicals on earth-the resource contains 90 of the world's 92 naturally occuring elements. The Searles Valley location currently produces soda ash, borax, boric acid and natural sodium sulfate.
